They haven't told me. I wish they did it would have brought me some sort of solace and I could understand their reasoning.
-
Nor are they likely to tell you. My guess is you had the wrong program running or in use that you shouldn’t have been.
-
I only have ever played on Xbox.
-
Then you seriously did something wrong (or played with wrong crowd) to get banned on console.
-
That's why I'm so confused. I stopped playing on September 19th of last year to focus on school and after several months I bought beyond light while on winter break and when I logged on it said I was banned. So somehow and for some reason I was banned while not even playing the game.
-
Well you are cross saved to a steam account. Might someone have gotten on your steam account & potentially did something against policy?
-
No, I have two-factor authentication on everything and they would need to have access to my steam guard code sent to my email.
-
Well something went on for Bungie to ban the account. These aren’t just issued lightly.
-
It's not like I was playing one day and then couldn't the next. I'm assuming the ban happened sometime in between October and November. I can't say for sure though.
-
It must have been a mistake. I've never ever heard of someone getting banned on Xbox. I know for an absolute fact I did nothing wrong because I wasn't even playing the game.
-
Doubtful to be a mistake. If it was, your appeal would be approved & you’d be unbanned. And it’s absolutely possible to get banned on xbox.
-
I'm not saying it isn't. What I am saying is I've never seen or heard someone get banned on Xbox.
-
And I’m telling you that it has happened
-
Yeah, it has happened. Happened to me.
-
And to others. Regardless, this conversation is over. You’ve been given some answers.
-
Alright, take care.
