The PC Move function was available at bungie.net from September 17, 2019 through December 1, 2020. As of 1700 UTC on December 1, 2020 that function was retired and thus no more migrations can be made from Battle.net to Steam. If you wish to continue, you would need to start over and purchase any dlc that you wish to play. That said much of the game is now free to play and the expansions can be purchased separately as they are no longer dependant on each other for playing.

  • I understand that I cant migrate from battle.net to steam anymore, its sad but I am fine with it! I am Not fine with being to forced to pay 2 times for the same dlc! And this reply does not answere my questions at all, selling content then taking it back forcing me to buy it again is something I want more information about! I have payed for the forsaken dlc, what you do then is give the buyer what they paid for. your user agreement does not cover this!

Unfortunately the time for free license migrations has passed. The content was not taken back, the steps that were required to move your licenses were not performed during the allotted time frame. Any expansion licenses that were not migrated are stuck on Battlenet and if you want to access the optional forsaken content it will require a purchase on your preferred platform

  • wow, good replies. Seems like repeating this all over every forum is the only thing anyone can do. I already "own" the rights to play the forsaken dlc (I understand I havent bought the game it self, but i have bought the rights to enter and play it). so everything you are saying is straight up bullshit.

  • You go to the cinema and buy a ticket for a film. You then leave to go to another cinema. Does that ticket work at that other cinema.... No. You had a license off Blizzard paying them there share of the purchase price. Bungie arranged for that licence to be transfered free but you ignored this time frame given (in fact originally you had only 12 months but a extra 2 months was later given). Now you expect Steam to give you a license for free or for Bungie to pay out of there own pocket for you to have a new license. Argue what you want but you had your chance to have your game licences transferred but you missed it..... by over 9 months.

  • You own the license to play on Battlenet...since the game isn't on Battlenet that license is no longer valid
