The Bungie forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. If you have already appealed then all you can do is wait and see.

Do they have an email or a phone number I can use to talk to a legitimate person? I don't think an automated process can realize how bs this really is.

Bungie has no email / phone number. The appeal process isnt automated and will be reviewed by a real person. If you don't get a reply within a couple of weeks then it's likely the ban appeal has failed.
