In what end game situation would you want to waste an exotic slot on Trinity Ghoul?

A lot now. More than arsenic bite. Since anarchy was nerfed, you don’t really need to use an exotic slot on it. A good legendary rocket launcher is just as good now. Especially with overload bow, it is really good

No. Trinity Ghoul would be completely ineffective in any activity where it doesn't one tap. It actually isn't worth the exotic slot unless you're running arc soul in strikes or regular missions. Maybe a legendary lost sector... not Master.
