Decrypting the darkness and Prismatic recaster not working on new character in season of the Lost
I started a Titan the day after the season launch and I cant view any prismatic lens in the Recaster, it just says: "Sorry, there are no items available here, please check back during a future visit to see if there is any new inventory" My other 2 characters, one I made in season of the Chosen and one in Spicer can both view the lenses from any season, but not my new one. I tried doing the Season of the Chosen intro mission that gives you the Decrypting the darkness quest, which originally unlocked it, but once it asks you to go the the Umbral decoder, the quest is innaccesable and it says the same thing, no items available.
I completed every campaign and played some of the new season on my Titan, I dont think im missing anything to view the Prismatic Recaster, please help.

Decrypting the Darkness appears to be unobtainable in season 15 if you've acquired it on another character previously. Bungie is aware of the issue and investigating. The issue will hopefully be documented in the Known Issues post some time this week. Currently no workaround has been found.

Same here, only I can continue to do the new season stuff but no recaster whatsoever. They're more than quick enough to fix bugged and OP exotics within the day but gotta wait a weekish for this shiz to get fixed. Bungie, priorities please lol

1 ReplyIt doesn’t help you I know but I second this. Exact same problem. New character made this season. Same problem with recaster so can’t view or focus engrams. I also noticed I can’t access the war table in the helm, where the battleground stuff and that seasons mods were bought. Theres no option to interact with the war table at all. Both work no problem on my other two characters that were made last season.

Has that character progressed the intro quest for the current season and completed the intro for all other Year 4 seasons? You may also need to complete the New Light experience for that character.

I'm having the same problem, but only on my Titan. My Warlock and Hunter can focus engrams, but my Titan can't?

Same issue I’ve read that it’s a glitch and it will have to be patched so who knows how long that will take. I was hoping it be done before double nightfalls is over.
