Imagine complaining about an exotic that only boosts movement. What's even better is that even with St0mp33z, Hunters horizontal movement isn't even the fastest. Vertical movement is the main benefit. AND they are getting an indirect nerf with the nerf to sliding. If you want to talk about a movement exotic that needs to be fixed look at Dunemarchers. They are so buggy. Chaining through walls and sometimes triple chaining off one melee.

    Downvoted. 60% of the population are hunters. 50% use stompees. 15-20% are titans and only about 10% of them use DMs. No need to nerf an exotic that you only see every once in a while. This tells you how good stompees truly are. They need a nerf.

    60% of the population is Hunters? Where did you pull that out of? As of today, going by popularity, the top 3 subclasses used in crucible on PC isn't even a Hunter subclass. On console nightstalker is 3rd. You can literally look this up on guardian.gg Even going back to April, Hunters took up 38% of characters, nowhere close to 60% St0mpeez and Dragons Shadow are the only practical exotic in PvP for Hunters, no shit they will use it. If one of the movement exotics gets nerfed all of them will. I'd even say DMs are more broken than all of them because of the chaining. Even if they nerf St0mp33z you will still get ran

  • I main Antaeus Wards and I can tell you why nobody uses them: They still kill yourself when sliding. Until this gets fixed, nobody will use them. However, I disagree that the slide nerf would affect Antaeus. I actually think it would be an indirect buff to them because you won't be flinched for the brief duration of your shield being up, and since you can't fire while the shield is up, the stability and shotgun pellet spread nerfs won't affect you either.

  • "Only" boosts movement with zero downsides, zero subclass restrictions, zero set-up required, and zero limits on which jumps it benefits, on TOP of boosting your sprint and slide speed, lmao. Imagine thinking that just because one mobility exotic is broken and overpowered means that I don't think others are. Yes, Dunemarchers are literally broken because they chain three times off of dead bodies or multiple times off of teammates and you die instantly from them. Dunemarchers need a nerf and a fix too, no question.

  • Uh, yeah? Icefall Mantle for one. And if it isn't an explicit debuff on yourself like Icefall gives, then it's a downside in the form of forcing you to specialize with a certain ability (like HHSN, or Blink) or locking you into a certain subclass. Stompees doesn't do any of this. It's just a flat, large buff to every Hunter jump, on every subclass, with no downsides whatsoever.

  • My argument is that Stompees are simply too powerful with no real downsides or playstyle requirements. You just put them on and they work. That's all I'm saying. Just because I didn't post about DMs or TSs doesn't mean that I don't also think they're dumb as well.

  • The downside is using up the exotic slot. Just like every other mobility exotic. If you nerf one you have to nerf them all We don't need the game to get even slower either
