On Saturday I stayed up until 2 AM playing Neo: The World Ends With You, and then yesterday I stayed up until midnight doing the same. Probably would’ve kept going too, if I didn’t have work.
These may not be significant times for y’all, but I rarely stay up until 11, let alone 2 AM. I really love Neo: TWEWY, but I think I might love it too much. I’ve gots a problem. ;-;

The format of the Reaper’s Game is really different from its predecessor, and I prefer the old Reaper’s Game format. Partners, fight the game master on the 7th day, all that jazz. Now it’s a team thing, and teams compete against eachother for points. Not as cool, imo. But, that’s literally my only complaint. The gameplay is terribly addicting (in a good way), I love pretty much every single character, the soundtrack is phenomenal, and the story’s pretty great, too!

Or does it matter?

I would definitely play the original first. For one, the original is great, and I’d recommend playing it anyway, but there’s a lot of plot threads that tie back to it. I’d recommend playing Final Mix specifically if you can. It’s got an extra chapter at the end that ties into Neo. That being said, if the motion/touch controls put you off too much, you could probably get by without playing it. I think they do a good enough job explaining things that you shouldn’t be too lost. Probably.

It’s not a problem, it’s a quirk! I would be the same but I don’t start work until 1pm, so realistically I can stay up until 3 or 4 without making a dent on my day. I don’t usually stay up past 2 though, I like being able to relax for a bit after I get up.

Oh no, you misunderstand. The problem isn’t that I go to bed before 11, the problem is that I stayed up so late. Twice in a row even! And on a work night! How could I be so irresponsible? Oh, just erase me now, for I am unfit to carry on the name Aifos! I am sure Lord Tomonami would be looking down upon me with dissappointment in his radiant eyes! T-T
