I'm having the same issue, it is infuriating!
Just opened the game after the update and now I can't play.
It's not my PC, I've been playing for 2 weeks solid with no issues.

Yeah I never had this issue before today. Guess something in the recent update is off? Glad to know i'm not alone but sorry you're having my same problem

same dude, it's a pain when we have to endure this, but I guess I've played destiny long enough to expect this sort of thing as standard now haha. Like you say, at least your are not the only one and it's a wider game issue. I've called it a night (11pm UK) will try again tomorrow :)
