Hm. This is interesting. It basically gives you the means to acquire special ammo without having to look for a brick, provided your final blow is with a kinetic weapon. This might just work for PvP.

It’s solely depended on your ability to secure Kinetic final blows. And even after you get the kill, you still need to wait 2 whole seconds before ammo lands into the clip. In addition; scavenger mods influence how much you get after the two seconds timer is up. O scavenger: 2 seconds = 1 shot 1 scavenger: 2 seconds = 2 shots 2 scavenger: 2 seconds = 3 shots
