If they dont address the maps, respawn, lobby balancing and matchmaking while addressing the sandbox changes of weapons, exotics and subclasses, then we are going to make no progress on the matter.

So true. They need to fix SO MANY more pressing problems in Crucible that special ammo is at the bottom of my "WTF Bungie" list.

Agreed. Too many QOL issues within the game that need to be address before making any more sandbox changes to weapons, exotics and whatever else they fill needs to be address. I dont understand why they thought that shotgun nerf was going to do anything. It is like they dont understand the cause and effect of band-aid fixes. You would think after how D1 was handled that they would have grasp on how to balance by now but I truly believe they are simply lost.

I would like this to dial in (think they said they are for next season maybe) the ranges weapon should be in. Right now many go far beyond their intended ranges for archetypes and some by a lot. Even with better maps (which we really need) there are quite a few outliers that wouldn’t be effected that much. Some AA and hit boxes for some guns are way to large as well. Special ammo is well down the list for me for fixing. There is so much unbalance right now even with the game feeing so good right now.

Edited by hate n payne: 7/22/2021 12:59:44 AMExactly how I feel as well. People are too focus on the ammo economy for special and the special weapons themselves when there are a vast array of issues that has yet to be addressed. For example, Last Word’s ease of use is way too high. You can barely contest that weapon with perfect accuracy and sway from a sidearm and the thing is, it didnt need to be addressed(at least from a console standpoint). They keep addressing the problem child sandbox changes they created through buffs to certain archetypes rather than addressing the overall factor in gunplay and gameplay. Right now as we are discussing the issues or matter, nobody from is jotting down the information that I feel we both have gave non bias thoughts about. The stats on weapons dont even add up properly for most weapons and I feel like they are just put there to give you a sense of understanding of each one. The thing is that with weapon archetypes, each one should have a set range that stay within and the perks, mods, and abilities from our subclasses should enhance the capability of them.
