They would need to rework both of those dumpster juice exotics to make them have synergy with felwinters bullshit (felwinters lie). Let's be honest. Winters guile is useless since it was nerfed along with trench barrel. Felwinters helm is the most useless shit I've ever seen.

But there’s no value in the playstyle they offer to the player, unless you’re going out of your way to play different. At least with this concept, they stand a better chance..!

Let's be real bro. Guile is absolutely useless. It serves no purpose in either pve or pvp. Helm sucks but at least it's somewhat useful in nightfalls since it's like blinding nades on steroids but I would be lying if I said I didn't want synergy between these 3 items

Helm sucks but at least it's somewhat useful in nightfalls since it's like blinding nades on steroids but I would be lying if I said I didn't want synergy between these 3 items
That’s Precisely why I drafted a concept worthy of its Exotic Title. Which is a stronger melee, with every successful melee kill. That’s the foundation of this exotic. With my idea; the melee energy is immediately refunded, if you manage to get a kill with it. Imagine throwing an endless number of Celestial fires because each enemy you hit is also killed? So you get to throw another Even more powerful celestial fire, at another target. And another, & another. Until you have a super charged celestial fire that can one shot a yellow bar even in upper end content. I see a lot of value in that, especially if we have mods that stagger /dispute champions when dealing melee damage. That’s a reasonably powerful exotic, and that’s not even considering the fact that it’s meant to combo with felwinters as well. Imagine a maxed out winters guile damage buff, stacked with the perk one-two punch? You’re gonna kill anything & everything..! That’s a power fantasy I wanna see. Or; using the bottom tree stormcaller to build your super meter almost instantly in PvE. Winters Guile is a far more powerful exotic than you may realize, and with the right changes; it can absolutely dominate the sandbox in PvE. The synergistic part of all three of these items are meant to serve a particular style/fantasy, in which I believe embodies Lord Felwinter’s method of combat. The shotgun is his legacy weapon, and the gauntlet / helm are iconic support items that just make the run & gun experience more fluid & powerful..! :-) Plus you’ll likely see less Felwinter’s spamming in PvP unless players decide to just use it anyway, or adapt to a build that supports its design. Which is to shutdown overly powerful foes in its path.

the description of celestial fire spam is literally middle hammer with wormgod. it would be very similar.
the description of celestial fire spam is literally middle hammer with wormgod. it would be very similar.
That’s another way, yes..! Warlocks could use this for multiple other builds though, that center around the melee ability..! I’d love to see how this would work with penumbral blast in PvE.
