No. I used to play warlock a lot, and they don’t have that many good abilities for PvP. This at least requires some skill to move around with, unlike Titan slide. And also, Titan slide does more than slide. It breaks and shatters stasis crystals, whereas warlock just moves. It’s fine as it is

It's not though. I can skate and move around faster on a warlock, in any direction, better than pre nerf stasis slide. To bring dawnblade in line with the other abilities in the game, it needs a nerf. Bungie said it themselves. Top tree dawnblade is the number one spot for all pvp.

You know why it’s number one slot for PvP? Because warlock mains have nothing else. All they had was chaos reach and top tree dawnblade, but chaos reach was nerfed. Now, since that’s gone, they only have one viable option, which is top tree dawnblade. So, they all play that, and since there are so many people playing it because it’s the only option, it’s the number one used in PvP

That's nice and all, but guess what? It doesn't really matter. The balance of the sandbox needs to be consistent. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

See, now you're drifting in subjective and opinion based arguments, and playing the class victim card. None of that matters, nor holds any water for discussion. The simple facts are that Icarus dash and stasis slide are functionally the same. If you nerf one, for reasons that it is overpowered, you need to nerf the other. Because it is logically equally overpowered.

They are not the same though. The cool down for the dash is 6 seconds, and the slide has a 1.5 second cool down now. Also, you can shoot during a slide. You can’t during a dash. Slide also shatters crystals and frozen enemies. Dash doesn’t do that. The Titan slide has way more utility than dash does. And I’m not using the class victim card, I’m just saying that they only have one good subclass. I don’t play warlock anymore. And it’s true. Look at the numbers. How many people use other subclasses for warlock? That’s why chaos reach was used so much. Because they didn’t have any other option, and they were bored. That’s not opinion, that’s what happened.

Bro did you not read what I said, like at all? I'm talking about pre nerf titan slide. Pre nerf titan slide functioned the exact same as Icarus dash. Bungie considered that OP. Icarus dash needs to be nerfed to match the current titan slide. Icarus dash and slide have the same utility, just in different areas. No you can't shoot in Icarus, but it's Omni directional and you go further and faster. Both are primarily used as movement abilities and Icarus is the better movement ability.

They don’t function the same actually. The only thing they have in common is that they can be used for movement. For titan, movement is a bonus. It’s supposed to be used for shattering. Because on Titan, you are on the ground where you can still shoot. This can be used to rush at people with shotguns. The dash is different. You are in the air, and you can’t shoot. This is used to flee from battles you can’t win. So no, they aren’t the same
