Ok Bungie no joke Vex Mythoclast better not be bugged like Eyes of Tomorrow was...
We shouldn't have to kill a Raid boss 40-60 times to a gun.

I have 33 lootable clears. Completed it on day one as well. No Mythoclast. Everyone in my clan has had it for weeks and I have to keep dragging them to the checkpoint every week.

It kept me playing 🤷♂️ [spoiler]fatebringer from 1st ever Templar though 😎[/spoiler] One time we got to Atheon and someone lagged out/quit half way through the boss fight. Some other guy joined about 2 seconds before atheon crumbled to dust. New guy gets vex mythoclast before he's even spawned into the game. He had never done VoG before either. True story 🤣

I remember getting my vex at the end of taken king. So it was nerfed and was sunsetted. Hopefully its drop rate isn't garbage. My friend is still trying to get eyes and he's mad at me for getting it on my 7th run.

13 RepliesMy prediction is that it will be ludicrously good. All the content creators will rave about it. Everyone will do the raid to get it. Once possession saturation has been reached it will be nerfed because that was the plan. Vex will then sit in your vault.

I just really hope it's good....which from what I've heard about its perks may make that unlikely. Basically my hopes are high but my expectations are very low

6 Replies7 years ago I was waiting on this dude to help me out with a Nightfall strike and he invited me to join Atheon cp (never did a raid before) so I jumped in and they managed to beat it (I died from exploding harpies) and there it was Vex Mythoclast, it dropped for me on my first try 🤣 I don’t expect the same this time around 🙃

I remember when I got Vex Mythoclast back in D1, my friends went and attempted the heroic VoG without me because I wasn’t on yet. So another person on my friends list invited me to his fire team since someone had to leave. They were already at Atheon and all I did was open one of the time portals back up and then they just did the Atheon cheese. In the end I ended up getting Vex Mythoclast and the Hunter helmet. I didn’t even know what the weapon was when the game said it dropped for me.

I'm not to worried about it, because my guess is that the gun will suck. The more I think about it, I feel all the guns from vog will be weak. No new perks like DSC on the weapons.

I have over 50 completions of DSC and still no eyes... I have gotten 4 1k voices though. Maybe I’ll get lucky with vex

100% agreed. It took me 65 looted Deep Stone Crypt clears to get eyes, and I have some buddies that still don't have it. I really hope Vex isn't the same way, because it honestly gets less fun and more tedious the further you go.

3 RepliesI have low expectations tbh Vex was atrociously bad at the end of d1 because it was nerfed over and over wether it be by accident or on purpose It really needs to come back to it’s true godly form or it’s gonna be a let down Not to mention judging by the wording of its perk it’s gonna be semi auto instead of full auto
