Before stasis haters and crayon eaters start acting all butthurt: I’m glad burning steps was added. A anti stasis exotic is great but it’s also busted.
It’s too strong and has too many benefits for simply wearing them. Most exotics with two+ buffs and ease of use usually have that limiter of being tied to a subclass. The sheer amount of crap the exotic can do should have just been tied to the solar element or have the exotic tied to the hammer titan only. Just limiting it to hammer titans would still keep it strong since it’s a strong subclass
The list of abilities alone are worth limiting it to one subclass:
1. Breaking out of frozen causes no damage
2. Breaking out of frozen causes a solar explosion
3.breaking out of frozen is immediate
4. Chill only applies half stacks
5. Escalating damage boost on solar final blows (can’t remember if it’s for all weapons or just solar)
6. Damage boost on being chilled (not sure if it’s a bug)
This shit is the exact scenario if bakris wasn’t tied to stasis and had both damage boosts active during pvp. Not to mention this doesn’t fix stasis being overused (it’s not op, light subclasses are just underpowered), since these boots can be used with a stasis class. Also that damage boost is just begging for more igneous hammers, felwinters, and (if anyone was feeling ballsy) osmosis would turn godly. All that crap (except for #5) rewards bad players for being bad and introduces the oem problem all over again.
Overall burning steps need to have the damage boost on being chilled removed and needs to be tied to the solar subclass especially when there are already more stasis nerfs coming. I (and many others) know this exotic is going to wreck pvp than oem.
Edit: I’m enjoying watching the the upvote counter go up down. Glad to know not everyone is a little kid who got stomped in crucible and can see that bungo added another broken exotic to titans lol
Nobody is concerned about Tarzan getting heat boots. The stupid boots is completely ineffective against spectral so it only amounys to a gimmick. Will be vaulted in a week.

Spectral usage is abyssmal, many valor resets since bl launch and i can count on one hand how many times ive seen spectral since
Spectral usage is abyssmal, many valor resets since bl launch and i can count on one hand how many times ive seen spectral since
Because stasis is the go to. I see spectral but I play comp thats where you see them and they are all almost legend, unbroken, or flawless but don't want to use stasis. Hunters are crutcbing stasis because it does everything we want. CC, death, and the only thing since tether to restore abilities . You can't make this statement when youbknow stasis is the main thing thats like me saying striker usage abysmal, because behemoth is the go to. This is commonsense my guy.

I know spectral is rare because of rev, but that doesnt change the fact that spectral is rare. You using spectral in your argument is irrelevant because of its usage right now. If or when rev becomes bad, then it might be relevant

You know stasis is why don't see it uet it doesn't change the fact it is still a strong top super. Usage is the most dumbest thing I've seem someone gauge strength Dawnblade has a ridiculous usage but everyone is harping on stasis. Golden the most common, popular, and weakest super is the most used super but people focus on stasis. Striker still gets more usage. Stasis is hated because of how dangerous it is at the competitive level usage rates can be manipulated.

As of right now, due to stasis, spectral is a bad super alongside most supers. This is simply cause if you get slowed, you are dead, frozen, dead, etc. GG is also not bad, took it out for a spin in ib today and regularly got 4+ kills a pop. If its bad, it means you cant use it.

I have killed people while being slowed and being frozen is a hit or miss but you are not dead just because you got slowed or frozen.
As of right now, due to stasis, spectral is a bad alongside most supers

GG is also not bad, took it out for a spin in ib today and regularly got 4+ kills a pop. Spectral still can wipe a spawn golden due to the short window especially 6 shooter can barely get 3 . So spectral in the right hands, bad but golden gun in the right hands ,good? You're cherry picking while practically saying my original statement was worthless but prove it correct and with the worst super.

There is a reason gg has no armor. If it had armor it would be super -blam!-ing op, easily the best super in the game. It has hitscan insane AA bullets that 2 tap supers to the body with very high rpm, and most importantly ranged. Spectral being a melee super is bad in this meta, behemoth is good as its so fast.

You talk as if its just a regular ol melee but not a wallhack, invis, highest super armor while invis, easily only of the fastest behemoth is not a hunter super it has nothing to do with it. I know why golden gun don't have super armor but it wasn't broken in d1 it didn't have alot and the shots were limited. You're talking from a 6 shooter standpoint which is weaker than the triple shot and has damage falloff no super has damage falloff at range like a gun and is good I'm sorry that just makes no sense and it only last 6 secs while I can wipe a team with spectral because they will never see it coming.

Except that when a spectral approaches your whole screen goes purple and you hear the loud noise, not stealthy at all unless the enemies have turned their monitors off. I was using behemoth as an example of the only melee super atm that is good. Yes 6 shooter has falloff but you can follow up with a 2nd shot so fast it doesnt matter. You clearly lack any ability to hit targets, so i understand why you dont like gg
