Hello there,
Expansions (Forsaken/Shadow-keep/Beyond Light) do not transfer and must be purchased on each platform you wish to play them on.

If you would like your progress to be available on steam you can set up cross save at bungie.net/CrossSave

I've been trying that for the past hour trying to figure it out, but it keeps saying that i don't have an account on any platform. even looking at my emails I can see I made a bungie account years ago so I don't know what else to do.

wait so I managed to link my PS4 account, but now it says I have 0 characters... why is this so complicated :(

yeah i found my account and linked it, but it says there's no characters. Someone here is mentioning that I have to make the PS4 the primary or something

There is no ps4 that shows any playtime with the name Rithicculous in the system. There is a steam account with that name, and it is not the one you have linked to your profile. Do you normally play d2 on PlayStation?

I did a while back, and I have the email from bungie to confirm my bungie account. I'm sure that was from playstation. I initially thought I got it through like epic games or something for free but there was no option for that so I'm thinking I got it on playstation back when I was playing that more often.

I don't have my playstation anymore, but i can log in some time later on a friend's to check. but I haven't played since the first time they allowed the game to be free to own/play. it was around the time forsaken released. haven't played since then.

You might want to verify as I can say as of now the linked psn does not have any play time. There is a steam account by that name that played as recently as March.

I already linked my Steam account though and haven't played so i'm guessing that's another user. I'll come back to this thread later today with an update.

How do I transfer my account from battle.net? I transferred the license but nothing else came with it.

The PC Move function was available at bungie.net from September 17, 2019 through December 1, 2020. As of 1700 UTC on December 1, 2020 that function was retired and thus no more migrations can be made from Battle.net to Steam.
