On the topic of Groove Metal: I really don’t understand the concept. I don’t think my ass has ever shaken more than when listening to these guys, for example, and yet nowhere have I seen a mention of them in the scene, it’s always ‘stoner’ or ‘heavy blues’, but to me they ‘groove’ a hell of a lot more than bands like Down.

Groove Metal doesn't really mean it's groovy. It's basically just Thrash Metal but at slower tempos.
