Nah, it's a good addition to the rules because this place was basically becoming dark mirror of Reddit or Twitter, just wish they were more consistent with it.

You and I remember things very differently The sub was dominated by the Circle of Consensual Hand Holding and at the peak of that time of the great lotion shortage there were atleast two of those posts for every other kind. And then the posts that were about like games or movies would be dragged into those subjects by the folks who think the existence of certain groups of people are topics of discussion in those super academic fields that have since been banned! Really sucked wanting to talk about a movie or game but a good 90 percent of the comments were just "[i]fEmAlEs ReEeE[/i]" Sure you could just mute those people, but their existence plus the abundance of those topics means more like... minded isn't the right word as that requires having one, but anyway it attracts more of them. And at first I did mute them all, but it was so bad that the newest post in New was a day old! Think about how bad shit had to be that the forums at that time without those topics was actually slower than it is now! Anyway, silly hangover rant over, I gotta go to work!

I think we had very different experiences too. You were both at odds with each other in ways I was not. So that's probably why we remember it differently. I participated in those discussions and posts, so I didn't really have an issue with it to begin with. Have fun at work, if there's such a thing to had at that place!
