Siva isn't even a subclass. It's jus technology. An plus we stopped the replication of Siva, so how would we even get it? Sure it sounds interesting, but that would create inconsistencies in the story. But then again, this game is already full of them anyways.
Personally, I don't want a Siva "subclass". Things in the past need to stay in the past. I'm tired of all this reusing content stuff. Bungie really needs to stop staring in the past an look towards the future. They need to be more creative and original again.
Every one of these seasons this past year (except undying and arrivals) focus on stuff they should've done in the past. It's like they're literally trying to redo past expansions. Even this season would've been better if it happened right after d2 vanilla (sort of). My thing is, how do you expect to create a better game for the future if your stuck in the past?
My thing is, if people wanna play vault of glass, or go to the cosmodrome, they should jus play d1. Seriously, all this recycling stuff is really lame. All I know is that most of the good content they had was when they were working under Activision. Everything after shadowkeep has been bunzzz. Do something else for once. Stop recycling stuff. Actually try to follow the storyline an make it at least intriguing, an not so predictable. Please I'm begging you bungie.

Sure it sounds interesting, but that would create inconsistencies in the story. Eramis isn’t exactly dead, and maybe after be best her, someone else unfroze her, and drove her to a new power. Fallen once were infected by Siva. And imagine if Clovis bray helped up tame the power, using stasis? This making a new subclass. I’m nobody to be talking about lore or game design of this caliber but if I can come up with something, you bet your bottom dollar Bungie can.
Personally, I don't want a Siva "subclass". But this whole game has been a callback to old storylines. The stranger, Caiatl & callus, the soon to be vault of glass, returning exotics & legendaries, etc. so I don’t Siva is where we should draw that line. Besides, if you really step back; Destiny 2 has done way more NEW content. Old stuff serves as a supplement through the seasons. But Big DLCs all offer up new stuff. The developers have made it clear that they’re wrapping up this saga of Destiny. The Light VS dark is about to come to a close, so before that; I think it wouldn’t only make sense to wrap up lose ends & currently unanswered questions before making new ones. The story this season has been fantastic in terms of pacing & importance.
My thing is, if people wanna play vault of glass, or go to the cosmodrome, they should jus play d1.
Have you given yourself a break from Destiny? I mean nobody should spend their life on it, and if people need to play D1 in order to fully realize what’s happening in D2 I think that’s poor storytelling. I don’t see Destiny as a linear experience. It’s a wide game, that gradually works it way up. I also think this game still suffers from internal struggles, conflict of ideas, & proper direction. I have faith in Joe Blackburn & what’s to come. I think now we’re gonna have a far more clear & developed idea of what’s going on, & where the story is taking us. So don’t be so hard on bungie for making decisions to bring back old locations. Because everything they’ve brought back has been 10 times better than the D1 version.

Edited by Jai_Ex: 4/4/2021 12:48:55 AMSo, the cosmodrome is 10 times better now than it was in D1? Bruh your funny as hell. There's even less stuff in that destination than there was in D1. All it has is a few lost sectors an that new light story. What about those who haven't played the new light stuff. Shaw han Iis basically jus this dude who showed up out of nowhere for these people. What significance does the moon have now that shadowkeep is done? It doesn't. Neither does the cosmodrome. Fallen saber an the strike with sepiks literally have no purpose. We've already done them wayy back when, an we already killed sepiks twice. Once with Siva. "Oh but this strike is different cause it has more enemies". Bunch of bullcrap. It doesn't change anything. Literally it doesn't change anything, the dialogue is still the same, so it's completely confusing to those who haven't played D1. U want me to imagine clovis creating another outbreak of Siva, with the fallen? Why would he do that? What purpose would he do that for? He doesn't think about anybody else but himself, so I'd find it really hard to believe that he'd create Siva and help the fallen tame it. Not unless he was planning to use it himself, but he can't, since he's stuck in a huge wasteland filled with ice. An it still wouldn't be a subclass anyways. There's a difference between having powers, and having technology. Weilding Siva is like weilding a sword. They're just tools. The power isn't coming from you. All your doing is just using the abilities that the tool has. When I say reusing content, I mean literally reusing content, not callbacks to past expansions. So like bringing in the cosmodrome with those reused strikes, an a half baked omnigul boss. Literally reusing enemies for new expansions, or seasonal storylines. We went to Europa to search for answers about the darkness, not to defeat reskinned fallen who weild darkness. That kinda defeats the purpose of going beyond light. We could've defeated them by using our light. All those fights where we defeated eramis and her lackeys with could've been down with light. But I'ma get to that in a little bit. Call backs are fine. Like, I when i saw the stranger in the beyond light campaign, I was like "Where have you been all this time? What happened to you. Why didn't you ever talk to me again after d1 vanilla. I don't mind us talking about events in the past, cause I feel like they should be talked about to connect the story with current events. But things like that felwinters lie quest where rasputin confesses should've happened forever ago. Probably after warmind because that's when we meet him for the first time, but two an a half years later, we finally know what happened? After all that time, I stopped caring about Siva. If your gonna make a story about rasputin confessing, at least do it when the topic is still somewhat relevant. The same goes with season of the worthy, dawn, chosen. It's not a preference. They're literally trying to make up for their past mistakes from past expansions. Season of the dawn would've been great after curse of osiris. Season of the worthy would've been great after warmind (felwinters part). The thing with the almighty should've happened after d2 vanilla. Caitl should've been introduced after that, and tried to lead the cabal empire into a new age of peace. All of the content they created last year would've been great after specific expansions. Even season of the hunt would've been great after forsaken. I know d2 has down a lot of good content. Being around for 6 an a half years, you tend to notice that. Same thing with D1. And there are also a lot of downs. You think I haven't thought of playing another game? I hate when people say that cause that jus makes themselves look stupid. Of course I've played another game. Most people on this game have, especially when they're not enjoying it. Why keep constantly playing a game when your frustrated with all the mistakes a company keeps making. I'm not downing bungie. In fact I'm encouraging them. I've seen them give 1000% to this game a lot of times. If you see a friend falling, wouldn't you want to pick them up? That's what I'm doing. I want to remind them of what it means to "Become Legend", cause it seems like they're forgetting what that phrase means. That's the slogan for the entire franchise. Those who become legends give their all in everything they do. I've seen them be so creative that ive been speechless many times over. The level of work that they did made me want to work for their company in the future cause I wanted to be apart of that. But it's frustrating to see all that I loved being stripped away. That's why I have to take breaks from the game, cause I don't want to give up on this game just yet. They themselves said that this game is a saga. A saga is split up into multiple parts. That includes destiny 1. So yes, I do think, if they wanted to continue the storytelling truthfully, they should've really tried to connect d2 with d1, before all of this. The fact that you're happy with how bungie is now, is actually hurting the franchise even more. I've seen their best, so I expect them to try and be the best, everytime. There's always room for improvement. Look at what they did with forsaken, and ttk. They bright the best of the best to the table, and I with many other people thought that was what it meant when they said they were changing the future of destiny. I thought everything was gonna be as creative as that. But anyways. I'm a storyteller. I love creating stories. We can agree to disagree. But I know what I want from this game. There are many things that I wish they could've done in the past, but I know it takes more than just character development to tell an amazing story. I want bungie to realize this and get back up on their feet again, and aim higher than the stars.

Stasis is not actually ice so its not uncommon for siva to become a subclass if bungie made some BS if they really wanted to.
