So.
Prophecy is the only dungeon I can play for free (don't have SK, Forsaken, or BL) and it's INCREDIBLE when it comes to aesthetics and design. I love the polygonal design mentality.
There's also a ton going on lore wise. And I need help with those bits. Here's what I know...
Eris and the Drifter are asking the Nine a question that regards the nature of the Darkness. Specifically what that question is, no idea. We, as the Guardian (Young Wolf, chosen one, whatever) venture into the honkin rock at the back of the Derelict to pass a trial given to us by the Nine.
Once we complete the dungeon, Eris and the Drifter receive the answer from the Emissary. Eris is kinda like "Seriously?" and Drifter's scratching his chin saying "Yeah, that makes sense." There's no dialogue I've heard that gives a clear idea of what the Nine said.
Any thoughts? Theories? Philosophical comments?

The question we are asking the Nine is what the Darkness actually is. What's it's nature. The Nine answers this in the form of a trial. Throughout the Dungeon, you have to use Motes of Light and Motes of Darkness to progress. This is the Nine's answer. Light and Dark may be associated with good and bad, but the truth is they are more or less the same. Both are forces of nature that can be used as tools. Both aren't good or bad, what matters is who wields them. It's also called prophecy because it serves as a tease for the future. Such as predicting the locations that would be visited by the Pyramids, or that the Boss is call the Kell Echo, and is likely a stand in for Eramis.

Well this is 3 seasons old...basecly prophecy is well..prophecy of the end in season of arrival you can see peaces of dissapeared planets(Mars, titan,io,mercury) and the questin was ,what is the darkness" and the conclusion to that is that in eyes of the Nine Light or Dark is the same...as dungeon try to learn us sometimes u need light do overcome obstacles and sometimes you need dark.

Basically the nine see the light and dark as the same, so they suggest using both the light and dark instead of choosing one over the other. This was a foreshadow for stasis.

5 Replies<The Nine say that the Darkness and Light are both tools to be used. We asked the wrong question and the Nine gave us an answer anyone present during Joker's Wild already knew.>

1 ReplyIt also gives away who we fight in BL. The giant captain is a shodow of Eramis.
