It's goddamn pathetic that a t3 umbral drops under 60 stats...
What even is the point in wasting our time and hammer charges to try to get any specific stat over 16+ when you're giving out 53 roll armor? My randomly gained mobility engram was a 23 mobility, 53 total stat roll with completely worthless stats in the other 5 slots.
It's called tier 3 for a reason, so why are the rewards horrible for armor every single time Bungie tries to make a loot system like this? The weapons getting a 2nd perk is cool and all, but no point when it's still 3 runs of BG to get one umbral compared to just rolling for 1 charge or no charge umbrals.

What I don’t understand is there is a cap on the t3, yet it’s all BS. I just don’t know why there is a cap and a small one, on this crap gear.

I feel like 5 charges is way too much investment.

I focused one for the triumph and never again, got three left to do for the T2 triumph and then I'll be just turning the others in for purple engrams. I wish Bungie would learn, being super stingy is not the answer, if they were more generous then I'll try and get better rolls of existing armour/weapons and re-focus but hey, you can lead a horse to the water but you cannot make him drink.

They bring something back that was good for the game and water it down so its not worth the time or effort. Just farm boss CP in Pit of Heresy for high rolled gear. You can't tweak the rolls but its better than the current system.

Bungie can't seem to understand that about 98% of armor drops in this game are trash stats and have no business even being in the game anymore. Armor needs a drastic overhaul to make everything useful and I do mean useful and not just for shards. In the mean time, outriders in one week.

Also every crucible, gambit and vanguard armor piece. Why even put them in the game.

Edited by blade329: 3/25/2021 3:44:01 PMI got garbage for two T5 focused armor engrams. That was it for me. No more. I refuse to focus armor engrams ever again. It's a waste. I get more 60+ armor in the Iron Banner, in less time. From then on, I only focus weapons. I have better luck with T1 engrams.

I gave up on trying to get decent armor from T3s, I only go for weapons now.

My favourite part is how you are limited to 2 T3s a week so you can't even really farm it

If they don't fix it then why the eff I should invest my time. They effin need to fix or revamp the loot system along with RNG.
