They ruined D1 Crucible when they nerfed the special ammo economy.
D2 was a snooze at launch because of the double primary solution.
Leave it how it is and make a new game mode for players like yourself who don’t want special weapons.

Change the game because it needs to be improved, correctly I might add, rather than split the player base. I’d prefer the former in my opinion.

“Correctly” is subjective. For me it would be reverting back to pre special ammo nerf D1. I doubt you share this view so my correct is your wrong and vice versa. That’s why I say a different game because 1 size fits all is never going to please everyone.

True, but there has to be a better solution that does not split the player base.

If there was someone would have thought of it by now. But as it stands all solutions favour 1 or the other camp.
