Just do what I do, wait for them to simply hand it to you. It might take a while but bungie will eventually allow xur to sell it or put it on a kiosk.

Once you acquire the new ones from Lost Sectors they can drop anywhere. Last week I had Battle Harmony drop from resetting my Infamy rank.
