Amazing isn't it. Look at the proposed damage numbers for it now and compare them to the hunter adjustment and now think about the kit of each of these subclasses before the adjustments. Just makes no sense at all.

The Hunter melee lost the ability to do both of it best freeze combos (dodge + melee combo and the double melee combo). For all intents and purpose the melee can no longer freeze in PvP without the use of duskfield (which can already freeze on it’s own). Hunter is basically the only class now that can’t freeze opponents in PvP with their melee. Why on earth would a melee that slows do the same damage as a melee that instantly freezes? That’s not me saying that the slow debuff isn’t good, I know that it’s incredibly strong. That being said freeze is essentially the ultimate slow effect. It achieves almost everything that slow tries to achieve and does it better in most areas. Side note: I find it funny that people were losing their minds over 90 damage on shurikens (which I was also against since it was too much damage for a melee with those kinds of effects), but those same people are fine with an instant freeze melee doing 80 damage.
