Hi there. Exotic Ciphers cannot go to the Postmaster, you can't hold more than 1 at a time, and the quest must be completed within the same weekend you picked it up from Xur.

The quest must be completed in the same with you pick the quest up that's freaking BS man
-
Then that should be clearly stated. I just completed 21 vanguard missions. Some were Grand Master Nightfalls... and then Bungie is going to jerk me around over what - the f ing inventory is full!!! FURIOUS!
-
All those boxes were checked, my friend.
-
When did you pick up the quest from Xur? After turning in the quest, did you check your Consumables and confirm at least 1 slot was available?
-
It's the second time I didn't get mines. It's really frustrating
-
Bungie needs to fix this. If consumables are full maybe the game shouldnt let us turn in the cifer and then refer us to make room instead of robbing us for our cifer and time. Judging by the comments this has been going on long enough to be addressed
-
I picked the quest up on the seventh if I remember correctly, and I did check and there was at least one slot available.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 2/9/2021 8:42:28 AMIf you are on Xbox, try clearing your console's cache by powering it down and unplugging the power for at least 5 minutes. If you are on Steam, verify the integrity of game files. After starting back up and logging into one of your characters, check your inventory to see if the Cipher is there. If it is not in your inventory, then unfortunately there's nothing else I can suggest and you will have to try completing Xur's quest next time.

Hey, that didn't fix it... I appreciate the help tho. Thank you for your time, Grundle.

Nice to see someone being polite and respectful.

When you work in retail as long as I have, it's difficult to fault someone for not being able to solve your problem. xD
