Yes I bought the Season pass and the Beyond light too , but not the deluxe edition.

Then you have no issues at all. The gun is for buying the bundle that includes both beyond light & season together, or the deluxe edition.

Bungie has only said that it will become available "at a later date" There is no official ETA.
