Commando is your general all around class, with a pair of pew pew pistols. Huntress has a homing bow, and lets you focus on dodging rather than aiming. Acrid is a poison dragon. Ranged/melee hybrid character, can be specced to be melee only. Engineer builds turrets that fight for him, and can put down a bubble shield. Very good at holding an area, not great when you need to move. Loader can [b][u]PUNCH THINGS! PUNCH THINGS REALLY HARD![/u][/b] Mercenary is a cyborg samurai type deal. Dash around chopping things with a sword. Lots of mobility, generous i-frames. Rex is a robot/plant hybrid. Can spend health as ammo for really high damage output. Captain has powerful abilities, but they can only be used once per stage. Weaker for most of the level, but mean near the end. MUL-T is a robot. Can be specced to anything really, but isn’t particularly great at anything either. Probably has the highest DPS if you get lucky. Artificer is a wizard. She can fly. Flying wizards are fun.
