Hi there. If you're using wired headphones, I recommend checking the connections and trying different headphones/earbuds to determine whether it's a hardware vs. game issue.

I have SteelSeries arctis 3s and I have had them for over a year now. I have never experienced buzzing before and continue to only experience it in destiny 2. I have also tried using them on a different device and had no problems. I think it is game related though because as I change on and of of the destiny window, the buzzing starts and stops respectively. If I play audio in another window there is no buzzing. This problem is more of a small annoyance to me and I can just crank up the music to try and mask it. I'm just looking to see if it is a problem that I can fix in game because the buzzing is strangely specific to destiny 2. EDIT: I have tried recording the buzzing noise in OBS, and when I re-watched the recording were I could previously hear it, it wasn't present. I still find it very odd that the buzzing is only in destiny 2 and no other devices or even windows on the same device. Something in the live gameplay seems to be making a buzz, but that thing is not recorded. I can't pinpoint were this problem is occurring but it is very annoying. I'm considering that (although weirdly specific) the noise is not from the game audio because it wasn't recorded, even though the noise is only present on the destiny 2 window. Thank you for taking time to hear my problem.

Totally understandable. Buzzing sounds are most often caused by hardware issues, such as electromagnetic interference or faulty cables and will tend to be exhibited when opening certain windows. It can happen suddenly or be an issue right out of the box regardless of how new the computer is or its specs, which is why I asked. While I don't have an answer to whether this is a bug being investigated right now, thank you for bringing it to our attention. In the meantime, here are some helpful suggestions you can try in order to troubleshoot whether it is a hardware or driver issue: https://smallbusiness.chron.com/stopping-buzzing-noise-speakers-browser-opens-80073.html https://thegeekpage.com/how-to-fix-audio-buzzing-in-windows-10/
If it only occurs in Destiny 2 check 'Recording Devices' section of Windows and temporarily mute any mic, line in, digital in, etc sources.
