I'm talking about the other interactions outside of racially tense ones. The south was crazy back then, but people also had respect and manners back then. These days people have no tolerance for differing opinions. It was far more civilized than it was today outside of some certain areas. I don't know why we had to being civil rights into this when that had nothing to do with this thread.
