• It's a prologue to an RP.

Riight, but what you have is a weird amalgation of scripting and prose. It's written like it's scripting, but it's missing a few key elements that make scripting scripting. I know you expressed that you aren't good at writing in the other comment, so maybe scripting, which is way different form of writing than what we consider "writing" to be might appeal to you. Basically, scripting is straight dialouge with stage directions interjected at strtegic points to convey the actions. It's what you see in movies, theatre, Shakepeare, etc. Prose is regular writing, essays, novels, short stories, all that jazz. It's the most popular form of writing and it's what most people consider to be "writing". Now, about those missing parts, Part 1: Scripting always has the chracaters name or an abbreviation before the line with a colon, which nakes it much easier to follow who is sayinv what at which time. Ex:
Janus: blah blah blah Guard 1: herp de derp
Part 2: Scripting always has stage direction written in italics between dialouge to convey important actions on stage (fight scenes, magic, even specific emotional facial expressions, etc.) Ex:
Janus: hurrrrr va nei joompa doo janus does a thing Guard 1: wtf?
Part 3: This one's optional, but some people like to embolden characters and placesin the narration/stage direction, so there's no confusion about the who's and the where's of the segment. Ex:
Janus boards the Big Bologna Spaceship, searching for his lost pizza
Obviously, these aren't the best examples, so if you want to check out some real scripting or prose work on Offtopic, i've got some recommendations.
Scripting: Story of Saitonia- dude's been writing this story since i got here like 2 years ago, and he's still going at it. He's got like over 100 episodes at least. Hidden Alignment's RP class- i've always thought this one was really creative, especially with the places and characters, and he incorporated the rps with the story really well Lee- the Quest for Garlic Bread is his most recent and memorable work, but he had a kot of standalone stuff. It's mostly absurd comedy, kinda like an Offtopic version of Spongebob

Prose: Aifos' The Days Before the Fall- this is top-tier Offtopic storytelling, imo. Reads just like the introduction to something that would actually be published, and, as far as i know, Aifos did it all by himself. OneEyedBucky- he only wrote 1 multi-episode story, i think, but his single post short stories are surprisingly dense and very enjoyable. Sylver- He writes very allegorical and standalone stuff that doesn't make sense, but it's all enjoyable nonetheless. His nuance and references carry that mysterious tone to all of his pieces. Victores et Vici- all the writers here did a pretty good job (Ring, Liam, and Dr. Titan), at telling the same story through different lenses. It's got a classic fantasy vibe, almost like a Tolkien-lite, especially from Ring's segments. Unforunately, it's currently unfinished Nil- imagery and word choice The Triangle- this one's written by Giraffalope, and it's decent, but i'm pitting it here because it's very dialouge heavy. Ronin's (i will remember the title eventually)- The introduction is great, characters that you would think become major characters die suddenly and unforgivingly, but he only posts the next chapter like every 4 months.
There have been far more stories, and many many others that i can recommend, but my memory is god-awful and I just don't remember many of the great i read here. Finally, i saw in your other comment that you just wanted to convey an idea, but that's what all writing is. Every work that anybody has ever written down was meant to convey an idea, it's just a matter of how effectively, entertainingly, and uniquely you can convey that idea

  • He meant the writing style, which to be blunt is difficult to read and follow along with.

  • I feel it should be obvious I'm not good at writing. Hell, I failed my writing class last grading period. I do this to convey an idea, instead of saying "hey, this happened"
