A wall appears around the mountain. Two figures are battling each other on it. One seems to be made out of flames. The flaming figure throws a fireball at the other, and they barely manage to dodge it. "Hey! Stay away from the jacket!" The other yells, firing a rifle at the flaming figure.

[spoiler]I'm guessing the figure in the jacket is Rogue? Cuz you know... Snakeskin Jacket![spoiler] [i]Nova approaches the figures. She puts he ruand on her sword, preparing to strike.[/i]

[spoiler]Yup.[/spoiler] The figure keeps firing angrily at the flaming man.

[spoiler]*spreads hands* hot new item-snakeskin jacket![/spoiler] The flaming man notices you and prepares to throw a fireball at you.

[spoiler]Low key sounds badass, I kinda want one[/spoiler] [i]Nova growls and draws her sword. She slowly approaches the figure.[/i]

[spoiler]Same[/spoiler] Rogue continues firing as the man throws the fireball.

[spoiler]I imagine Nova's sword looking kinda like Zulmak's sword, in other words... [i][b][u]DUMMY THICC SWORD[/u][/b][/i][/spoiler] [i]Nova slams her sword into the floor, sending a wave of fire forwards.[/i]

[spoiler]Zulmak sure does love swords ngl[/spoiler] The man seems unaffected. He sighs. "Really?" He says in an otherworldly voice. "I'm made of fire..." Rogue takes his chance and summons an orb of water, throwing it at the man.

[i]"Shall I not be able to burn you, I will snuff you out. You will fail."[/i]

The man is hit by the sphere of water, and he dissolves. A small trail of flames appears, leading to a gaping hole in the wall.

[i]Nova turns to Rogue.[/i] [i]"Who was that?"[/i]

"Maroth, god of chaos." Rogue looks down at his jacket. "He [i]really[/i] hates my jacket."

[i]"Yes, many do not like snakeskin. Did you kill him or temporarily get rid of him?"[/i]

"He just went back to terrorizing the city."

[i]"I don't have a way to cleanse fire. Is there another way to hurt him?"[/i]

"In his usual form? No, he can only be stunned."

[i]"Form? How many forms does he possess? How do I bring him to a vulnerable state?"[/i]
