Game is dead, people need to accept it and move on. Bungie does not respect players or their time.

Edited by Yosemite Sam: 1/3/2021 4:59:57 AMDo you mean dead as in this company has nothing to offer anymore other than their cheap copy and paste work?
-
Lol far from dead. Maybe dead to you.
-
Lol far from dead. Maybe dead to you.
Omg you said the word dead, that's offensive! Of all the words you could choose!
The game is pretty much dead. Quickplay isn't quick lol
Destiny will be a zombie as long as Bungie keeps it online. People have come to except this game as a time killer not really even a full game, it's like a mobile/little loot shooter/money grab not really trying just phoning it in kind of game. With f2p it'll be around like Rift, not dead just there.

Edited by WoofinAintEazy: 1/2/2021 4:24:50 PMGame has more content then most AAA titles. It is most definitely a full game. Even newly released Cyberpunk has much less content. The fact you’re trying to compare it to a mobile game shows how far off your perspective truly is.
-
Please I began Gtav and D1 when they dropped guess which one never charged for dlc and is still actually expanding and fun not Destiny. You settled for garbage that's your choice, I'm happy for you.
-
destiny 2 is dead, sunsetting was crap should have been destiny 3 and a start from scratch again..
-
Sure it’s dead for you, but the game itself isn’t dead.
-
Definitely not dead.
-
not fully dead, but definitely not in good shape, according to steam charts the player base is near what it was a week before beyond light came out, during a content drought.
-
Edited by WoofinAintEazy: 1/2/2021 5:14:06 PMSteam isn’t the sole indicator of the player base. Guess what will happen once the next season launches? Numbers go right back up. The continuous Destiny cycle that’s been going on for years.
-
steam may not be the sole indicator of the player base but it's the largest of the three, so we can kind of extrapolate the numbers to the other platforms.
-
It's not the largest of the 3, hasn't been in a long time. https://warmind.io/activity Currently Xbox 36% PSN 33% PC 30% Stadia 1% During euro hours it's more like 35% PSN 33% PC 31% Xbox, but overall daily PC is lowest of the big 3 and console Vs pc is 66% to 33%. It used to be pc 65% console 35% when it first went free on Steam, it's plummeted by 75% since then

Edited by WoofinAintEazy: 1/2/2021 5:33:59 PMLol there are also other factors and differences you’re not taking into account. Keep searching numbers. Also, I’m looking at the steam chart now, currently has an average around 65,000 daily on steam this month, 67,000 last month, 99,000 during Beyond Light launch month, and had 50,000 the month before that. Regardless, still doesn’t take away from my point, numbers will jump right back up, like the always do. You can look at the chart for yourself to notice the pattern I’m talking about.
-
so? numbers jump for a week, big whoop.
-
its pretty dead
-
Tower full, activities full, lfg filled quick...totally dead.
-
Agreed, funny what perspective does... Badly recieved ideas don't make something dead, something having no engagement makes it dead... My clan is vibrant and full, and I'm constantly doing stuff. What's ruining my enjoyment currently is half the collectibles and legacy triumphs being bugged... I lapsed, I came back, I'm catching up, and I can't get half the stuff I need for my seals. That's not cool
-
Yeee I’m not agreeing with all their decisions, but I’m also recognizing the facts. Game is still going.
-
Games doing fine, 1.4m daily players still, compared to 200k during curse, and 400k during warnind. However, once you do the beyond light campaign, and padded grenade unlocks, there's literally nothing to do (if you don't raid) and even raiders are now bored rigid. The stats show that at any given time 60% are playing story or patrol.
