John Watson happens to be walking that way when he sees the sword. He decides to investigate it and reaches to grasp its hilt.
English
-
As he grabs it, he's teleported to a long hallway, with intricate statues of knights lining the way to an altar in which the sword is embedded. He might also recognize it as Clarent
by the way, do you still have Excalibur?
-
Yeah, he still has Excalibur
He will start to approach the alter. “Hmm, haven’t been in a place either knightly origins like this for a king while.”
-
As you near halfway, a knight in black armor steps out into your path, brandishing a paper. Excalibur would recognize him as the original Mordred
-
“None shall pass.” Watson chuckles. “Who might you be good sir?”
-
"I am Mordred, betrayer of King Arthur." He looks down and sees Excalibur. "Now that's a blade I haven't seen in a long time. I'm sorry good sir, but I'm afraid this will not work very well."
-
“Why not, is it my blade and your familiarity with it? Or is it because I am a big fan of King Arthur? “
-
"Just your blade. Don't you remember what happens should Polycephalon get its hands on all four blades?"
-
“Ah yes, that would be no good, I’m not here for the other sword anyways, just to see this place. I have had Excalibur for a long time, longer then any here have had the other swords and I don’t plan on it leaving my hands.”
-
"Ah, you're free to wander around then. But do tell Titan you're not here for the blade, otherwise you've got a fight on your hands."
-
“Thank you. I would not want a fight in my hands unless I needed. I grow weary of fighting, so very tired of it.”
-
"I understand. Well, enjoy."
-
He will continue onwards, waving farewell to the other knight.
-
Mordred gives a small salute. Ahead of you, Titan and his alter ego Mordred step out in front of the altar, swords at the ready

Edited by ImaDrizzit: 12/24/2020 1:45:16 AM“Hello there Titan, how are you currently? I don’t belobe I’ve seen you for a while.” Watson doesn’t move but shifts his weight back a bit and pivots to the left.”
-
"Eh. Outside I don't know. In here I'm doing alright."
-
“At least that’s a good thing. How has this been going, finding someone else worthy enlighten for your sword I presume. I’m surprised you didn’t attack me in sight, this is obviously some kind of knightly test.”
-
"Honestly, it was Clarent's plan. He was tired of just being traded around. And yes. Are you planning on getting the sword?"
-
“No, I’ve already got a sword, I’ve got many. I don’t think It would be the wisest idea to take this one as well.”
-
"Ah good." The two sheath their swords.
-
“Good? You seem like you don’t even want to fight. I’m curious, has anyone tried just going by you and taking the sword?”
-
"Nope. And we do fight them, but they lose themselves in the fight. It's quite interesting." Behind them, the sword and altar disappear
-
“When you have sword drawn I’m not surprised they fight. Most people here are very aggressive when it comes to combat. Alas many can’t see that they are in a test and realize that beating you isn’t the point.”
-
"And that's exactly the point of the test. To see who wants to survive more than fight."
-
“Well tis a good test. Many people see a enemy with a blade drawn and instinctively think that they have to beat them, there isn’t a choice, it’s fight the big bad in a epic battle that will test your strength and devotion or fail to get the loot. And that’s where many fail. Before you must fight you have to decided if it’s even worth fighting in the first place.”
-
"Very true. But time is short, an enemy approaches. I bid thee farewell Watson." Your vision fades to black
my apologies for cutting this short, but I need to finish up this story arc before I have to get back to doing things in real life and can't find the time for it. Part 2 will be up shortly
