I walk over, and pick up the sword.
-
As you grab the hilt of the sword, you're teleported to a somewhat long room with an altar at the other end that the sword is stabbed into. In front of you there are rows of columns and sculptures, most depicting knights clad in their baroque armor.
-
I walk down to the altar, looking at the carvings with interest. "Well this is new...."
-
About halfway to the altar, a single statue lurches out a good three meters from where you are, pacing to the center of the room and turning to face you
-
I look at it curiously, waiting for it to move.
-
The knight sighs a long sigh as it stretches, dusting off it's black armor. "Child, do you know where you are? Do you know who you face?"
-
"I do not. Enlighten me?" I glance at any weapons it might have, as I remember my own sword on my back.
-
You find all of your weapons where you need them as the Knight speaks. "Currently, you are inside the sword Clarent itself. For some reason, he decided to test and pick his own master this time, which is.... concerning, but it does mean I get visitors. As for myself, my name is Mordred. The original, as apparently someone else named themselves after me. The nerve."
-
"Indeed..." I say, as I remember the name Clarent.
-
"But that's beside the point. Let's see here, there was a list of things I needed to ask you." The knight pats his pockets for a second before pulling out a scrap of paper and holding it up. "Aha! Definitely knew where it was. Alrighty, first question. What.... is your name?"
-
"Full or what I usually go by?"
-
"Whatever I guess. He wasn't very specific."
-
"Full it is. Ikeriabelle Deidra." I bow slightly.
-
"Nice. Alrighty, second question. What... do you plan to do with Clarent should you claim him?"
-
"Hm. Good question. I would examine him as he is a rather impressive weapon and artifact, and as needed, kill whatever needs to be killed at the time with him."
-
"Hmm. Alrighty, secondary questions. What does studying him entail?"
-
"Knowledge. And understanding your weapon helps you to let the weapon do it's job. Which of course is defending oneself or killing something or someone."
-
"Ah, so no trying to take him apart or anything?"
-
"Of course not! Why take a sword apart, that indignity is for guns!"
-
"Ah good. Alrighty, last question. Are you going to do any heroic last stands that get you killed?"
-
"Well, I happen to be immortal. I might get dispelled for some time, but I am a Grey Lady."
-
"Alrighty. So, you should be free to move forward."
-
"Thank you." I nod to the knight, and step forward a few more steps.

You keep walking, nearing the altar when two figures step out of the walls, shaking themselves off. Clad in Mandalorian armor, they meet before the altar and turn to face you, drawing their swords
