I don’t know how much time I have to participate in this but I will try my best. Ok now to remember my hit points and spellslots. Those two should be easy to find as I haven’t used Holmes fifth edition characters sheet since the last event but I have no clue what my prepared spells where. Do you plan to use D&D rules? I am will do either way.
Warlock Holmes is initially discombobulated when he arrives. After all he was unwillingly teleported potential to another plane. Although the wizard isn’t new to teleportation and quickly recovers. The first thing the wizard does, after recovering, is to cast a spell of flight. The wizard hovers over the area to get a better view of its happenings and to asses the area.
I'm still using D&D
There are currently three Drow fighting the other gathered Offtopickles. Blaze and Wrath have a warrior knocked to the ground, Owen is dueling a rogue, and Shamrock is fighting a Drow woman with shards of black glass floating above her risen hand. The cavern occasionally rumbles dropping stone from above, and the chains in the center are rising from the waters below.

Oh I forgot to describe appearance. I believe I was in that weird mantling Sotha Sil phase when the last event happened which really amounted to nothing but Warlock Holmes forcing people to play dress up with him. The wizard wears white robes with thin metal armor underneath. Upon his head is a strange may goggled helmet-mask made of a brass like material and adorned with it clockwork crown. The mask itself is carved in the visage of some snarling face. The helmet has two holes for his sharp elven ears. Apparently Warlock Holmes was really into cosplay at the time because his arm is replaced with a clockwork creation and he even casted alter self upon himself to take the image of the Dunmer god-king. After all it was a costume ball he was originally invited to. That wasn’t necessary but I felt like describing. Holmes is going to look upwards to see if there is anything actually pulling the chains up or if they are being lifted by some magical force. Shifting the goggles upon his face the wizard shall cast detect magic to get a view into the more magical aspects of the scene. Although I honestly don’t know if it will be really helpful.

The chains and the mechanisms they are attached to seem mundane, but the columns and the platform itself radiate very powerful auras of Necromancy and Sangromancy, blood magic.
