Except they're not the exact same. They have a completely different perk pool. The updated perk pool includes all the cool new perks from this and past seasons (which the old avalanche didn't). The only similarity is the name/look.

4 new perks doesn't make it a new weapon. It's still the EXACT same gun. If the intention was to bring it back then you don't sunset it. Trying to defend that by saying its different cause of 4 or 5 new perks is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
