So then why is the playerbase buying dlc and silver?
The only real change will come when Bungo sees those $$$ decline

First dlc not a lot of people r buying it but your options r 1 buy the new dlc or 2 stop playing the game as all contact form the first 2 dlc s has ben removed and all base game contact has ben removed forsaken 90% has ben removed the campain can be playd just 1s per a caricter and thet gos for thev4 dlc to so what can you do if you do not buy the dlc or session pass i was not going to get it but my mum got it for me out of 1k friends on a different account i have just 3 people got the no dlc and give bungie about a 3out of 10 for tye new dlc and you get people thet think if we do what bungie want bungie may do what we want and stop all it unfair and auwanted changes to the game all i can say to people thet think thet is not going to happenen as for buying silver thets just people being to dum to wait tell what ther looking for has its turn a being up for brit dust have i answered your Question?

That is the whole Sunsetting issue in a nutshell. If you don't buy Beyond Light there is little left for the F2P. Although if on XboX, game pass have you Beyond Light for free. I have decided this is the only way I'm considering moving forward with Destiny. I don't understand taking content away. If I don't want the next dlc I should not be forced into doing so by removing the content I already paid for. This is why, games as a service, is bad. Imagine if they were able to tweak Halo like this, back then you could just not sign in online, and the games where finished

Well i am on ps4 and the new dlc is not free for ps4 players i think thet luke smith wants to turn d2 in to the now fortnight Who nos maybe luke smith has not even ben telling the rest of bungie How unhappy the destiny community is about his changes to the game thet way he can just do what he wants you just have to look at the forums to see people do not want the game to be the way luke smith and bungie want it to mu friends have asked me to do a petitinon on change.org i want to see How meeny people will support it first so i have posted on the forums ask if people wood support this if even people vote for me to do it then i will do it if you want d2 back the way it was vote yes on my post if i do the post and 1k people support it we my get what we want

I believe it the Community Managers read forums such as this one and Reddit. For the most part they take the brunt of the feedback the community gives both positive and negative. It seems though that most of the community response has fallen, no pun intended, on a deaf ear. From needs to buffs, Sunsetting, PvP, balancing, QoL and etc, it seems that LS has a vision and won't stray from it. That being said, the only way the Playerbase can get significant change is with their $$$.. When the bottom line is effected then the top tier will look and see what's going on. But buy then it maybe too late or the game will end it's 10 yr lifecycle as per the original plan.
