PSA for new players for return of Vault of Glass
With the return of Vault of Glass coming soon I just thought it would be a good idea to let new players know, be sure to have at least one D1 vet in your team that knows the strat for Xylar the Timeless.
D1 vets we don't want to ruin the epicness of Xylar so remember you don't have to give spoilers just let your team know the specific strats for each encounter and remember DO NOT OPEN THE SPIRIT BLOOM CHEST!
I just wanted to let everyone know so that those who never played D1 can experience the most epic VoG secret when the raid returns.

10 RepliesI can't wait to see how much of a mess VoG is actually going to be knowing they changed things when they should have left things alone. Always "fixing" what was never broken. The rumor going around that they added champions is going to make the Templar miserable because here it is for a couple of years now and Bungie hasn't fixed the broken mods do deal with the champions, Awesome!

I have been saying since they announced it, one of two things will happen. They will bring the actual big and everyone will complain about how hard it is, or the rise of iron version and only half will complain. That half from option two will do so for one of two reasons, they remember the past through the lens of nostalgia or they just want to sound cool to ransoms when they say “back in my day”. In either case, I can’t wait for those who complained about dogs to meet the gorgons.

Watch out for that maze and the Vogons. And use the hidey hole room in the first part when the boss gets big mad and does area effect

14 RepliesI am really hoping they completely redo the entire Raid and give us all new encounters. Having the [i]exact[/i] same bosses and mechanics would be a complete let down and just more of Bungie showing they are being lazy by just Copy/Paste it over to D2.

2 RepliesI am a D1 Vet... Slightly. I only done the Vault of Glass raid once and only once that got me my first exotic, the Thunderlord. Just never got to go beyond the base game with House of Wolfs, Taken King, and ofc Rise of Iron. But at least I am expecting changes in Vault of Glass, since we are not entering the raid from Venus.

3 RepliesI get the point of this post so not trying to change it But both of glass will be deciding if I continue to play destiny in life or not. If they take vote in class and they try to put the existing loot pool as a reward I’m done. If they are going to return the vault of glass, they need to bring back the weapons that were in there.
