Well....I don't think many of you would be hearing the name of Chelchis again.
*Ahem*
For those of you who never got the chance to Taken King, Chelchis is mentioned within a Rifle of his final words before his Death.
Chelchis once being the Kell of House Stone that were the only House to stand and defend the Eliksni Homeworld of Riis whilst the rest of their people evacuated.
It was evident enough that Chelchis fought and died to the hands of Oryx, the Taken King as a final stand of his strength of fortitude against the Hove, wven making him somewhat a worthy foe to be slain by Oryx himself.
Now to the topic...why would I mention such name after so long.....well given the recent events of the Eliskni and Misraaks being mentioned of creating a House in defence of both the Traveler and Earth, I propose that Misraaks has becomr the Figure of Chelchis, defending his new home.
Just as the Kell of Stone once did for his home.
What do you guys think?
Think I'm right or just a 'Bug' sympathiser?
Thanks to KSeth, Skybro and Ringleader and Kell of Rain for the much needed lore on the House of Stone and Traditions of the Eliksni, without you guys I probably wouldn't had gotten into Eliksni lore more so than the Vex

how do you show such sympathy for fallen? After all they’ve done they are unforgivable

Edited by Wren: 12/18/2020 5:35:42 PMI’m a bug sympathizer too. Because they are just like us, fighting to survive and taking any power we can to accomplish it.

Would you rather we were victorious ontop of a pile of eliksini bodies..... out of all the fallen now its only those who wield stasis for house salvation and whats left of dusk thats it... they are leaderless (not sure for dusk do they have a kell?) its time we so them mercy

Is that mercy, some would call it out of fear

I’m not sure that humanity would act very different if put in the position the Eliksni occupy, especially considering what we know of how people and Risen acted for centuries in the Dark Age and pre-Golden Age historical precedent. High-minded morals last only so long as prosperity reigns.

The Eliksni merely became such from humanity's agresson towards them. As at first the Eliksni wanted to co-exist with humanity when they found the traveler on Earth but Humanity after talks with the eliksni turned them away ablnd thus forced them to become 'monsters' in trying to take the traveler. And well after years of fighting to obtain the traveler, they've forgotten what the first of the Eliksni did which Misraaks now does, co-existing with Humanity.

As opposed to the guardians who have destroyed their entire leadership and have killed 10 of thousands of fallen?. If you're referring to the dregs eating children, that was a) hundreds of years ago and b) dregs are literally starved so that they are small and cant grow back their arms.
