@BNGHelp6 I hate coming here and pestering you, BUT IT IS STILL BROKEN Do SOMETHING. I've been waiting since dec, you're not addressing the issue in the twab, you're not going in and actively fixing it on my account. Before even trying it I verified my files via steam. I pulled the quest out of the quest master, and it's STILL BUGGED. Are you trolling me here? Is anything actually being done about it? Where's the proof?? WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

This should be addressed - "In recognition of acquiring Hawkmoon, an exclusive miniature Hawkmoon has been unlocked for Purchase. Earn by: Feb 9, 2021 11:59 AM" Simply because the quest is bugged for me, it locks me out of puchasing the replica. What do we do about this??

Yes! I am on Step 6 of the Hawkmoon quest. Collecting Paracausal Feathers. Some details in how the bug might have started - I started the quest on my Hunter, got up to Part 5 [u]Did some raids with friends, and ended the raiding off with Warlock.[/u] I continued the Hawkmoon quest on the Warlock on Part 6 (By accident) Collected the feathers, and got to the end of the quest. No quest completion, switched to my Hunter, did the quest again, still no completion. Tried abandoning and redoing the quest, but still no completion. I attempted this on all 3 of my characters. The feathers do not spawn to be collected.

Thanks for sharing your issue. Just to make sure I understand, when you logged in on your Warlock, did you start the quest on that character and get up to Step 6? Or did you already have the quest in your inventory from your Hunter?

I am willing to bet that if I deleted a character, grinded my way up to do the quest, it would still be bugged. Because when I claim it from the kiosk, it's even bugged at Step 6.

ETA on a fix? Because I just logged in and it still isn't fixed. Pretty much the only thing I cared about using, and it's still bugged. :/

Unfortunately, we're still investigating this issue because of the uniqueness of the situation. ETA will be sometime in January due to our developers taking time off to celebrate the holidays.

Hi! There still isn't a fix for this, do I have to keep waiting for each reset? Because I really don't feel like playing anymore if I don't have the gun. I am really losing my patience on this, it seems like such a simple fix. Just make the feathers able to be picked up again if the quest is up, like make them respawn if the player has the quest. I don't understand why something like this is taking so long.

Hey again. This issue should be resolved on January 19 in our next update. People are started to ramp things up again after the holidays.

Are there certain steps I need to do? I've tried deleting the quest and grabbing another one, but no it is still bugged.

Are you completing it on your original character that started the quest? Could you provide a video of you going through the encounter again? A YouTube, Twitter, or [url=https://imgur.com/]Imgur.com[/url] link would be the best way for us to view it.

I am only frustrated at the fact that the Hawkmoon was the content I was looking forward to most. The hype for me was there in that weapon the most compared to Beyond Light and the Season Pass. So my money and my time feels ABSOLUTELY wasted. Even the fact I had to wait a month only to find out you guys failed at fixing such a simple bug.

Is there any way you can just add a hawkmoon to my inventory to trigger the new mission at least? All my pals are running it but they've mostly been forced to solo or two man it and I can't join them to help.

Unfortunately, that's not possible. Have you tried acquiring the quest on your other characters?

Yes, but we're still investigating how to fix it. The Bungie Reward has been changed to March 30.

We're targeting March 16 for the fix, and you will have two weeks to then acquire Hawkmoon and purchase the Bungie Reward.

It still is not fixed. I've reacquired the quest on every character. Ran through it... the feathers STILL DO NOT SPAWN. All you have to do is set some feathers to respawn. That's it. You keep telling me there's a fix, and to wait for it. There still is no fix, I've been waiting, so what do we about this to resolve this issue? Your word means nothing now, because you've lied and said there would be a fix. There has been nothing in the twab mentioning it, nothing in the patch notes, it is as if you're attempting to sweep it under the rug and hope I forget about it. But you're wrong, Hawkmoon just happens to be my favorite weapon in the game. I can't play any of the content related to it because of this bug. I play your game more than any other game, I've been grinding and doing raids, I love this game, it is the best game I have ever played. But when stuff like this happens, and there's no real resource for me to communicate these kinds of bugs or fixes. It's the biggest pain point for this company, is their communication. When I have to spam the forums "for attention" of basic customer service, that's when the idea of Bungie starts to fall apart. I've had to wait a month when you told me there would be a fix, then there was no fix. I had to wait longer, and it began to reveal that nobody had any real indication or knowledge of the fix. Said you were still investigating. Then you gave me another date to wait for, march 16th. I waited patiently, it's March 16th, I didn't even log in right away on reset. I waited until 4pm, did the quest on two characters, and right off the hop I could see that it did not go well at all. The feathers did not spawn, that's the first indication if it's fixed or not. But I played the mission through to the end, but the mission does not complete. It's not that hard of a fix, you take the game object of the feather, then you set its global parameters to check if player has quest "If player has quest = then~~~" "feather is spawnable = yes" Just set what ever the value that is that spawns the feather to be true if they've picked up the quest again. Your team shouldn't take them more than a couple minutes to figure out what the problem actually is, then give an hour or so for the fix.
