Hello there! To enable DualSense 5 support, go to Steam, Settings, Controller, General Controller Settings. Make sure there is a Checkmark next to PlayStation Configuration Support.

It won't work, controller input is sort of recognized, but game shows it as an XBox controller, not a PlayStation controller; it's not fully supported. It doesn't support rumble or many of the new features of the controller. It just works as a generic gamepad. Bungie just needs to add official support for the DualSense controller to D2 like they have for the DualShock 4.

You will need to close the game and restart after check marking.

Yeah, I did that. The game sees it as an XBox controller and many of the inputs don't work, like the touchpad. Also no rumble or support for the new triggers.

Yeah. This seems to be a Steam Input issue rather than a Destiny 2 issue.

Steam shouldn't have anything to do with it. The way DualShock 4 works, Destiny 2 handles communications and I/O with the controller directly; Steam has nothing to do with it. I can totally disable Steam controller support for DualShock 4 and it still works just fine in Destiny 2 on PC. However, DualSense doesn't work this way, which tells me that Bungie just haven't added DualSense support into the game at all. The only work around now is to use Steam's incomplete DualSense support, which is not adequate.
