Not possible.
I don’t need it.
Killing the boss is a team effort.
People dropping well, bubble, and using weps like divinity take one for the team.
Clears are team win.
Fails are a team loss.
But you can test weps for damage.
I like it that way

Divinity is acceptable...otherwise stop making excuses and pull your own weight.
Divinity is acceptable...otherwise stop making excuses and pull your own weight.
Tell em Jay! Pick a load out and crush it <

What's the problem with knowing how much damage everyone did? If I'm running the exact same loadout as someone else and my damage is way less than someone else, I want to know what they did. Maybe they started damage earlier than me, maybe swapped weapons at different times, etc. While a clear is a team effort, the damage numbers help us improve for the next clear.

Guess you never wanted to try different strategies or see if something is more effective than something else. I guess I am in a better situation since the clears aren't an issue I am just working on making them more efficient.... with my team.

People opinions don’t change given and hard figures. Especially when preference and opinions come in. I want to test rockets but it’s so hard to do when you have to take frame by frame footage and see all the primary / secondary blast numbers (then burn damage from two tailed) ect ect. Numbers after is the only true way of getting accurate numbers based on real time scenarios and weapon combos.

Shhh stop it we are being toxic elitists. Even tho my ENTIRE team has brought this up several times like damn wish we could get actual data on our runs see what WE can improve on as a TEAM. When you already have 10+ clears of a brand new raid this early it's fun to see how much more efficient we can get or challenge ourselves to do better. Too elitist of thinking I guess. Should just shut up and open my chest like a good little guardian. I would be even ok of just knowing MY numbers and nothing more. People are treating a DPS report like it's a positive STD test scared absolutely to death someone may see it. lol

If win is a team thing and a loss is a team thing as well like you said then why show boss damage when you don’t defeat the boss?
If win is a team thing and a loss is a team thing as well like you said then why show boss damage when you don’t defeat the boss?
Just in the name of testing. Beating the boss is the sure fire of knowing how long it took and simply what was better. Trying stuff is in the name of fun and not just slapping on anarchy and dual slugs ect for taniks. I’m having fun testing random stuff like effigy and two tailed fox!!

"Not possible" D1 did it in kingsfall. After killing a boss you had a window appearing for 6s or so showing the dps.

It’s actually sad there ain’t a way of seeing numbers from a successful run......

You're wanting it so you can try to prove that you're the best on a raid team. I've heard this before from egomaniacs that want to feel superior over others in a team activity because they have nothing better to do than make others feel like trash. This doesn't and shouldn't be a feature for a TEAM activity like this. It should be removed from strikes as well. Let go of your need to feel superior in a video game and just play. Goodbye.

Especially where rockets and stuff are concerned. Unless you freeze frame or snap shot every rocket hitting and the yellow numbers generated, you are getting nothing in the way of total and over all dps. Please learn to read before slinging terms round like “egomaniac” or “superior .” My post doesn’t mention any of that.

Ok, ok. Maybe you're not like the toxic people and I stepped over the line by calling you egotistical. I'll admit I'm in the wrong for doing that and I apologize. I get what your saying. No, your post doesn't mention anything about the things I've been saying. That's why I'm saying it to show an argument for not implementing it. I get that you want to have numbers but those numbers always change and are unreliable at best.

I actually had an argument in a garden raid based on laid out and joining a team that was ONLY using the xeno spam spam-o--blam!-. I wanted to test the ruinous effigy and crooked fang combo! I didn’t more DPS than all except the guy spamming with actium war rigs! It’s all about learning and fun. I’m also looking at the toxic replies from others and ...... can see where people are coming from. It’s just learning and trying new stuff!

While I see your point and will agree that some people are definitely that way... I want it added also. I don't have a lot of clears myself either. When we wipe I'm typically seen at the bottom of the list for dps. Sometimes I'm horribly low! I still want to see the numbers though. As I learn when and where to hit my numbers improve and when we finally take down the boss I feel pretty good about my efforts and would like to see how it compares to those in the team who are better than I. I generally run with a small mix of people though and they all know that I am going to suck at the boss phase for a while so they are quite patient with me. 😆

A guy goes nuts on this post also about “superior” and “ego?!” It’s all about learning and teams learning about weapons and load outs. If you can put together viable strats based on what the masses has, it no longer becomes this LFG garbage “bring gallahorn or get booted” My post is in the interest of learning and hard numbers. Not guesswork into opinions and possible overall damage.

That's the cool part with the people I roll with though. They don't bully me or bash me on my numbers. I'm not saying they don't do a little trash talking. 😁 Hell that's part of the fun! Because of the time zones and work schedules, we have about 12 people that can normally get a group together. Sometimes it's a group that we absolutely know we will clear and sometimes it's a mix that we are unsure (but still mostly have fun). Sometimes it's on XB, Sometimes PS (I have yet to get a group of PC friends). Those numbers are important to see for the exact reasons you stated! Even in a successful completion was my loadout (or that other guys loadout) doing good enough damage? If it was could I still swap a couple things out to improve those numbers? If it wasn't then what do I change to that can increase the numbers? Without seeing them, I don't know. I might feel good about it in the end but I still don't know if my output was strong enough to relieve some 'pressure' from the other guys/girls in the group. If I'm in one of the mixes that has really strong people that's ok, they can pick up my slack. If I'm in one of our overall less experienced groups though? I need to know if my damage in the better group is strong enough to be some serious help in the 'worse' mix of people. It easily could mean the difference in a successful completion and a group of somewhat frustrated people. Sorry for being so wordy, just want to try and fully explain my own position on why seeing those numbers are important even if a person is not the strongest 'link in the chain'.

You tried and made your best effort! We were trying to help people and Sherpa someone also. It helps figure out what works and doesn’t at the end of the day.

You have 1 clear in ALL the raids D2 has had. You are not qualified to talk about what others want from a raid. As a matter of fact, you've only been IN a raid 3 times. Goodbye sir!! Stay in your lane!!
-
Awww, I feel so special that you looked at my game history. I can talk about anything and everything I want. Cheers
-
You're right, you can talk about whatever you want. But since you don't raid, you opinion on the matter is irrelevant. Good day and happy hunting guardian!!
-
See, there's your ego by boasting about that raid clears that proves my point.
-
Do you not get it that people who raid all the time wants to see this. I get your point and yes, some folks would be toxic. But those people are gonna be toxic with or without the numbers. I have a group that I run with all the time and we aould like those numbers so we can improve our loadouts, mods, etc. Not about calling anyone out for low dps.
-
Hes right though. Theres no purpose for showing dps at the end other than for your toxic ass to try to flex your ego on others. You cant say anything about my raiding. Because ive played with you before. I kicked you in spire back when i was on playstation because you couldnt even hold down plate 3 but was bragging about all your raid clears. Youre a scrub. Plain and simple.
