They should never hide them in raids
Where only 10% of players ever get them.

Raid catalysts are fine if they're for raid exotics. It's dumb otherwise.

Getting a group to farm a raid is not a problem so long as everybody is in on the game plan (such as right now with vaulting about to happen). It's actually getting the catalyst to DROP in such limitied capacity that is bullhonky, where RNGesus could proclaim you never get it even after 100 attempts. 😭 (Not personal experience, but probably applies to someone).
