It’s bleak, the doors have opened, yet a frozen husk lays still. Days have passed yet the exo succumbed to the bitter cold. Until finally, on the 478 attempted reboot, it awakes. Shamrock-74 begins to wake up, and immediately realizes he needs to get up.

[*BEGIN ATTEMPT 478*]
Shamrock-74 in a burst of speed lights up and jolts forward and up.
<“#*How long have I been out?#”>
[7 DAYS: 2 HOURS: 34 MINUTES:]
Shamrock-74 prepares his weapons and gear, not fully recovered from the frosting of his frame. Walks out of the barren tent, and shuffles his way towards the mansion.
<“%+Better late than never.@*”>
Shamrock-74 stows his Crimson shotgun upon his back, and enters the mansion, prepared for the worst.

-
Chain 2
There is no movement or sound...
-
Shamrock-74 flips on the flashlight to his Shotgun, and continues to walk forward weary of his surroundings.
-
There are many strange things within the display cases around you. Weapons and bits of armor, a hand fan, jewelry, a rock, but nothing moving. It seems to just be you in here.
-
Shamrock-74 scans the weapons, keen on acquiring a new sword. Though he keeps walking through the room with warming his frame to recover from the extreme cold.
-
There is a sword within one of the displays near you, a simple looking katana.
-
Shamrock-74 glances at the sword, but quickly turns away un-interested. Shamrock-74 ponders how large this illusion house really is.
-
Another note: Your scans of this room earlier detected different magical energies from the ones previously encountered in the ballroom
You continue to wander the vault, it's not a very big room. About twenty feet from wall to wall. The only way in or out seemingly being the now closed door you entered.
-
As you pass through the threshold, darkness takes you... After a moment you begin to hear faint music from classical instruments, out of tune and droning on, aswell as a woman singing... gibberish. Suddenly, you are lurched forward through the dark and into a crowded ballroon of well dressed guests and servants, dancing and mingling, their faces hidden beneath decorated porcelain masks. The grand chamber is brightly lit by sconces and chandeliers amplified by mirrors lining the walls. Rows of columns decorated with violet and maroon tapestries and drapes support two sets of balconies and the vaulted ceiling above. The floors are made from a mix of dark and white woods set into a basket weave pattern. Opposite the doors are a set of stairs that curve to an elevated platform. The band is playing here before a large stained glass window. Another set of stairs curve up to the first set of balconies above, where lightly armored guards watch from above, faces concealed within shadow. A servant beside the door turns to you and speaks, "Welcome, might I have your name?"
-
<“#%Name? Shamrock.%*”> Shamrock-74 performs a hidden scan of the room, and noticed many anomalies, especially with the humans. <“$&The hell is this place?@~”>
-
"Presenting Lord Shamrock!" The herald shouts to the crowd, then turns a to you again, "Enjoy the ball, my Lord."
Also, would your scans be able to detect magic?
-
Yes? Basically anything unnatural or non ordinary, including magic.
Shamrock-74 ignores the announcement and continues through the ball room, heading in the direction of the stairs opposite to the entry.
-
Well in that case you would see that everything is magic!
-
Didn’t think that was your reply sorry.
Shamrock-74 continues through the crowd mesmerized by the analysis. As he walks up the stairs he scans for any more entry’s to their rooms.
-
Oh, I was just letting you know in case that changed your actions.
Two knights guard the base of the stairs, wearing sleek and angular dark steel armor. Longswords are sheathed at their side and they turn to you as you approach.
-
Shamrock-74 approaches the knights. <“•*I would like to go upstairs please.#~”>
-
The knights say nothing, but a pale Elven woman approaches the railing above. She wears an elegant black dress with accents of deep reds and purples, dark leather boots peaking out from beneath. Her black hair is tied into a messy bun the mask across her piercing blue eyes is decorated with oily scales, the edges ending in leathery wings. "Good evening, I don't believe we've met. I am Lady-" a high pitched ringing drowns out all other sounds as she says the first name, "- Volariden. I hope you are enjoying the ball?"
-
Edited by Shamrock-74: 10/9/2020 3:47:41 AMShamrock-74 scans Lord Volariden for any potential anamolies. <#%”er- yeah it’s great and all, but I’m looking for a way out of the dining hall. I’m sure you’d know a way through the mansion. So if you’d be so kind as to let me through?*~”>
-
She is also magic, but nothing more unique than anything else throughout the room. Also, if you were looking for other ways out you would have noticed a few doors along the mirrored walls The lady is about to respond when the great doors open once more, revealing a wall of shadowy mists. "But if you leave now, you'll miss the show." She says, eyes locked on the door.
-
Shamrock-74 turns to face the entrance. He is curious of whatever is about to happen.
-
A nobleman emerges with sun kissed skin, sleek blond hair, and a bejeweled mask across his emerald eyes. He leads a group of servants and guards into the hall as the herald of the ball shouts, "Announcing Lord Gar-" you hear radio static over his voice, "-of the Frenilian Empire!"
-
Shamrock-74 doesn’t bother with a scan, instead heading toward the doors out of the ball room and into the next area.
-
You approach the door and open it to find another wall of shadowy mist as the lady greets the nobleman. "Welcome, I would say I expected your father to come himself," her words drip with venom, "but I understand why he would send his fourth born in his place."
-
Shamrock-74 attempts to open all of the mirrored doors until he finds the one leading out of the ball room. Opening each of the doors snappier, and quicker than the last.
-
There are just two normal doors along the walls with mirrors, and the mists are the same as the one you entered at the start.
-
Im a bit confused do I need to shoot something or talk to someone to get out?
Shamrock-74 walks to Lord Valeriden shoving past the silhouettes. <“~#Where is the exit.%*”>
