Well, pre fusion nerf, bastion had way less range compared to other fusions as a trade off for having lethality and consistency. Now, fusions just suck as a whole. Bastion isn't overpowered, it just presents a unique playstyle that most people don't know how to counter. If fusion rifles got buffed back up, specifically non high impact frames, there would likely be a drop in Bastion usage.

It's playstyle functions between the lines of a fusion and shotgun. You encounter it by range, or counter it by killing the bastion user first in close range with a special of your own - I.e shotty. Regardless, I don't think you should be able to slide out with bastion, miss 2/3 bolts, and still land the kill. A 33% accuracy rate to kill someone shouldn't be a thing - exotic or not.

Yeah, there's fusion that have more range and quicker charge time than the Bastion. Also your sacrificing your exotic slot by using it so you couldn't use something like the hardlight.

I can see that. Maybe they should make it take a couple more pellets for a kill so you are required to be more accurate.
