Took me a month to get legs on my main. My other two char have needed 1 item one of them for 3 weeks one for 4 and still nothing on them even after ib bounties.
-
I feel your pain. I finally got mine last week. It’s pain don’t give up.

1 ReplyI feel your pain. But its really insignificant now guardian. Yes it will please you at the sight of it. But it won't hinder you not being 1060. Grind just for fun guardian, trust me. The game will feel much better to play if you do.

4 RepliesYou have no idea what "Forever Pain" is unless you played D1 in Year One.

Add me to this club, 3 weeks straight trying to get a chest piece for hunter and still stuck at 1059. Titan, Hunter, and Warlock going on 3 weeks straight for all classes stuck at 1059 and yes I do all of the pinnacles. The only pinnacle i don't do is Garden. I still have the 4 IB bountys to do, but honestly, this RNG leveling is sucking my soul dry. Too much effort for a "maybe" reward I'll try my luck with warlock and titan, but i'm not holding my breath

2 RepliesTook me 7 weeks and I got a Mark today. Hawthorne gave it up of all people.

2 RepliesEdited by AceMaverick24: 9/8/2020 2:14:50 PMWho cares.... first mission/patrol/bounty that is completed November 10th will make everything useless again. Thus, the never ending bullshiit we call light/power carries on. Bungie is a joke
-
I stopped caring at 1056.
-
The fourth week was the magic number for me of 1059.
-
You know what's crazy? People look back on forever 29 fondly back when you had 1 chance per week to hit level 30. But now? It's the worst thing

3 RepliesExactly the reason why Gear should not be tied to leveling. But Bungie’s Luke Smith is so dry in his World of Warcraft days that he wants leveling to be the gate that keeps casuals from getting to the End Game Content. This is why I refuse to play this shit, garbage Game anymore. Borderlands 3, Diablo 3 are Leveling Models that are perfect. Cause they aren’t tied to Gear at all. I reached 1,000 Paragon Levels just playing the game and not relying on RNG to be in my favor.

1 ReplyDon’t worry about it. There’s nothing you can do at 1060 that you cannot do at 1059. It’s inconsequential Your artifact takes care of that one point. It won’t stop you from being able to complete a single task in this game. Enemies aren’t even leveled like that anymore. 1 to 30. Now they scale with you. Anything above +50 and it won’t matter anyway either. That’s literally as high of a differential the game will allow you to have. You’re not missing anything but a false point. You’ll be fine. Plus the season isn’t ending for weeks. You still have Plenty of time with multiple chances to reach the imaginary cap
-
You know you can stop playing anytime right?
-
Just level the artifact

1 ReplyYou can also try tricking the game to give you the piece or pieces you still need. This has worked for me in the past. Try equipping a very low level piece of gear in the slot/slots you still need. For some reason, the game seems to assign a higher priority to a piece of gear that is far behind the rest. I think this will speed up the RNG in your favor to obtain that piece of gear. This method is not 100% effective, but certainly has helped me out.

Keep running the hamster wheel until your max power then use that power to, well, em, show of in the tower? I’m not sure actually, what can you do with max power? Everything you could do without it?
-
2 RepliesOh stop crying.

Don’t worry about it. I’m 1060 on 2 characters and 1059 on 1 character for the last 2 weeks. I only need a Titan mark on my 3rd character to be 1060 as well. I’ve decided to only do 1 pinnacle per week on my last character in order to extend the chase to 1060 as long as possible. That way I have at least 1 thing to look forward to each week. I typically lose interest in games after I reach max level, and the November DLC is still a long way off.

Take a break. there are other games, come back when you feel like still being 1059. I mean really what does Light even matter these days? If you think about it, it is basically a way to say "You have to be this Light LVL to play this part of the game!" If you play old content you don't feel powerful at all, if you play the current it's the same, so what is the point of being 1060?
-
1 ReplyWhy do you care? Pinnacle light is a joke

3 RepliesOh my, how the old days of D1 has alas come to D2, forever 29.
