Is this true for the non-EU store too?

It only happens in the EU Store. If you are getting an invalid code on the US Store, you will need to contact the [url=https://bungiestore.com/pages/customer-service]Bungie Store Customer Service[/url] as they are separate from the forums.

I raised it to them, and they said post it here on the forums, because the issue is the code is invalid.

You will need to PM any BNGHelp employee that is the most active. The two employees that are the most active here are BNGHelp6 and BNGHelp7. But any BNGHelp employee will still do.
