Honestly, I would refrain from having lore posted on there unless the person who made their piece of lore decides to add it in. For example, since Nil isn’t planning on adding anything to it, The Apocalypse, which is mainly her creation, should not be added into the wiki, even though it was a significant event. The main problem I see with adding lore is misinterpretation and disagreements of how it all goes down and coincides with each other. If a person wants to add in a story or organization that they made, that would be fine as long as they don’t add information that coincides with another story or organization from another creator without their approval. I do like the idea of recording OffTopic and it’s history. As Aifos said, OT is a wonderful mess that we made and it would be a shame if all of it was to be forgotten as we age. But a mess is a mess. It’s hard to organize, especially if it involves several other strangers online.
Fades Away
•
The Offtopic article is the only instance in which I plan to document "unlicensed lore." All other information will be represented as presented by whomever wrote the lore. Besides, you don't have to consider even the wiki itself cannon; I, at least, am writing from a direct and far-from-omniscient perspective.
