• So we're allowed to get a refund? Nice. I might just do that.

 • GGs on that last part. Good to see some balance and reason in a post. Also good to see people have a legitimate route out.

 • Upvoted specifically for the final section of the comment. That is awesome and I’m glad it’s included because it makes the comment fair. The rest is like, yeah it’s technically true, but if you think about the spirit of the law and not the letter it’s hard to think Bungie isn’t being shitty and then hiding behind the SLA. I don’t like the flavor of Bungie’s boot enough to tell other players they shouldn’t be upset to learn that content they paid for is being removed from the game.

Don't get me wrong.
I don’t like the flavor of Bungie’s boot enough to tell other players they shouldn’t be upset to learn that content they paid for is being removed from the game.
I agree, it's definitely a shitty move, regardless of what the SLA says. Sure, you agree to let them make changes, but no one actually expects them to do it. Doesn't make it any less of a bullshit move by Bungie. Just emailed Sony and quoted that line. About two weeks later, my PSN wallet was credited $180...

Especially for players who are upset by the DCV and will never get a forum response from a Bungie rep, but will have to hear from many other players who pretend like it’s not a bullshit move.

 • Already got it ;) Got refunded for the base game and all the DLCs up to Forsaken (I never bought Shadowkeep). I think it worked out to $180-something?

 • Hey at least that worked out. Wasn’t expecting them to honestly give a refund.

 • Imagine where we would be right now as a society if people actually read the Terms of Service instead of completely skipping it 😆
