It isn't.
Even if you won, you would be paid with what it's worth now and with it being F2P, it'll be a compensation of $0.
You can't really defend against products losing value over time either, so you're stuck and the fact you agreed to their ToS which allows them to modify the game as they see fit, including prices. Also, the fact you do not own any content. Just the licence to earn, so if any compensation is to be had, ot would be the stuff you potentially earned when it was available.
Bungie has outplayed you.

Edited by SilentFight2411: 8/27/2020 8:37:46 PMNot to mention the Standard Licensing Agreement which states that you are buying a license to play/access the game & it's contents and that you don't own any contents of the game & you see that & agree to it at least twice. On PS4 you have to agree to the SLA before you download the game itself & then again before you play the game for the first time. The forum lawyers know better I guess...

Dont you know the forum lawyers taught the real lawyers, that's why they know better than them. All you bungie defenders will be crying when bungie gets sued right

Edited by SilentFight2411: 8/28/2020 9:25:04 PMLol thanks for the chuckle, "bungie defenders", where does it say in any of my comment/reply that I think it's ok? Things like the EULA, SLA, TOS & other types of terms and conditions are agreed to in any of the online games that are out now and Destiny is no different. We agree to all this crap before we install the games and again with some of them before we even play the game for the first time. As gamers we take the risk that things wont drastically change within the game world. Sometimes this crap happens in games and it sucks but as LICENSE holders the only rights we have to the game is simply just ACCESS. If someone is actually going to go forward with suing Bungie or any other developer over doing something they have a right to do with THEIR game I say go for it. Most lawyers will laugh you right out of their office or until you hang up if you made a phone call. If by some miracle a lawyer takes on the case & it somehow makes it to court then enjoy having a Judge laugh at you. Are you even thinking about your argument? Thousands of dollars for a lawyer dumb enough to take on this case. Again, by some miracle it goes to court & you somehow get a judge that wont laugh you out of their courtroom and you get a settlement you'll get what 5 maybe, 10 cents after the lawyer takes his/her cut. I guess I just don't have the time to care about suing someone over a video game that's 4 years old & having them remove content that is 2-4 years old that only a small part of the playerbase cares enough to play. Just a final note: I can't stand Bungie but I enjoy the game. Who are you to say that just because I understand the terms I agreed to before I installed the game that I'm a "defender" of that developer? Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to like a game in spite of it's flaws or bad decisions made about the game and dislike the developer.

You do understand my response was a joke right

Edited by SilentFight2411: 8/28/2020 9:36:07 PMLol you got me. I'm terrible with that kind of thing. Had you been standing right next to me and said it I would've been able to tell. Written/typed word is a tricky thing for me lol. It's also hard to tell since this is a pretty hot topic on here right now.
