Can you be more specific when you say "left?" Is that the tower that's on your left when you initially spawn in on Mercury, or is it the tower that's on the left side of the Mercury map?

In your screenshot, that's not quite the correct spot, it should actually be above the Vex gate that's being blocked from view by the right pillar of the Vex gate you're looking at. It's at around [url=https://youtu.be/5LuBjYTM36U?t=174]2:55 in this video[/url]. If it's not there, can you take a quick video of top of the tower, showing that it's not there? That will help Bungie in investigating.
